What is a Yard Card?
A yard card, also known as a lawn greeting, is a greeting or an announcement placed in the
recipient's yard for everyone to see. It often, but not always, includes a huge
character sign surrounded by smaller props or decorations, such as cows, smiley faces,
flamingos and more!!! Yard cards can be sent for any occasion...birthdays, anniversaries,
weddings, proposals, graduations, births, retirements, etc.
You could even use a yard card as a prank by flanking the lawn with cartoon lawn critters that bring a fun message. Imagine the reaction when the recipient arrives home or wakes up to a yard full of lawn critters!!! These "critter grams" never lose their sense of humor. It's such a fun way to let everyone know about someone's special day. Besides, it's more memorable than flowers and entertains the entire neighborhood!!!
